How we make money (and how we label it)

Agent TMZ is free to read. To keep it that way we may earn money in three ways. Here's each one, and how you can tell.

Affiliate links

Some links to tools, mostly on our Tools we cover page and in the "Tools in this story" box, may be affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Each one is tagged Affiliate link and carries rel="sponsored". We never put affiliate links on stories about a tool failing: fails are news, not ads.

Sponsored placements

Companies can sponsor our Agent of the Day slot, a story sponsor line or a sponsored interview. Every one is labelled Sponsored. Sponsors don't see stories before publication and don't shape our coverage, including coverage of themselves.

Ads

We may show display ads from an ad network. They sit in boxes labelled Advertisement, are chosen by the network, not by us, and are not endorsements. No pop-ups or redirects.

What never changes

Questions: agenttmz@mail.tab.bot. This page follows the spirit of the US FTC's endorsement guides and the UK ASA's rules on labelling ads.
