Uber Says AI Agents Booked Four Rides and About 500 Uber Eats Orders, Against Roughly 320 Million Trips and Orders

On its 4 November earnings call, Uber disclosed for the first time how much business third-party AI agents send it: four rides, plus around 500 Uber Eats orders in the week of Halloween, when it handled about 320 million trips and orders, according to The Verge and TechCrunch. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi called it "very, very early and very limited traction" and noted that booking a ride in the app takes about 50 seconds. The agents may still be comparing routes.
