A Claude Code User Says a Week's Allowance Ran Out in Under a Day, Then $155 of Extra Credits Drained Too
In a GitHub issue filed on 1 November, a Claude Code user says that from 30 October their whole weekly allowance ran out in less than a day at their usual pace, and that $155 of extra usage credits bought over the next 24 hours also went quickly, including on Sonnet. They ask Anthropic to check whether usage is being counted correctly. Whatever else broke, the meter has clearly been working overtime.
